How LandGist checks a property

Reports are built from verified local snapshots of public mapping data, including USDA soil, FEMA flood, NC OneMap parcels and addresses, and state well records. Your address or map point isn’t sent to those agencies at report time. The background map loads from OpenFreeMap.

OPTIONAL FEEDBACK

What happens to your note

If you send feedback, LandGist saves your note with the parcel and page you were viewing. When you’re signed in, it’s also tied to your account. Your note isn’t sent to analytics.

SITE ANALYTICS

Use counts, without ad tracking

LandGist uses Plausible to count page visits and common actions. It doesn’t send addresses, map points, parcel numbers, email addresses, account IDs, or written feedback. LandGist doesn’t use ad trackers.

Questions or account deletion

Contact Matthew with a question or deletion request. To delete an account, write from the email used for that account. After confirming the request, we’ll delete the account and its saved data.
